[Review] Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro SK17i.

Funny eh, review handphone yang dah lama keluar dan not-so high end? Well, it's my new purchased handphone and it's my freaking blog. So? Haha. But, if you're on a very tight budget yet you want to use a smartphone, this review is good for you.

Siapa taknak, pakai Samsung Galaxy Note ke, Samsung S III ke, iPhone ke kan? But aku adalah on tight budget and benda tu nak pakai cepat sebabnya PinkBerry kesayangan screen-nya dah mulfunction. Sedih tau. :(

Disebabkan dah merasa pakai BlackBerry, makanya nak try la Android pulak. Then ramai la yang cakap, "...kau nak beli Android phone sebab nak Instagram kan?" I mean, really? You use your Android phone just for Instagram ahh? C'monnnnn.

My budget is RM500 ONLY. So, aku mula survey Android phones apa yang dapat dengan harga tu. Malangnya takde, or aku yang tak jumpa. So i have to raise my budget to RM550. Kedekut ni, naik RM50 je. Mak orang miskin nok. Huhu.

There are two phones in my list. Samsung Galaxy Y and this SE Xperia Mini Pro.

Boleh dikatakan aku dah serik dengan handphone yang full touchscreen ni. Aku nak cari handphone yang ada both touchscreen and physical keyboard. As i am very familiar with SE Xperia Mini Pro (sebab Fatin pakai handphone ni before dia beli BlackBerry) so i've decided to buy this phone. Just like what i want, it has both touchscreen and physical keyboard.

Price.

Tak keluar budget. RM530 sahaja. Memory card 4GB, screen protector and basic casing FOC.

Features.

Camera 5MP, auto-focus. But still, aku rasa camera BlackBerry aku lagi best. HD video recording. 1GHz RAM, which is ok for a light user like me. Mobile Bravia engine, i don't know what is it but as i recall Bravia is a Sony thing.

OS.

Android ICS 4.0.4. My personal opinion, even you have the latest Android phone, say, Note 2 or S III, it's just a brick without the latest OS. If you have a low-end Android phone like me and it has the latest OS, what makes Note 2 or S III users looking down on you if their Android phones doesn't have the latest OS? Huhu. It's just my opinion la. We all know yang OS that matters kan?

Personalization.

1. Theme.
Aku adalah batak bila tengok themes yang available for Android users sebab masa pakai BlackBerry, themes untuk handphone aku tersangatlah limited. So tanpa ragu-ragu, aku telah meng-install themes yang comel-comel belaka untuk perasan yang aku pun comel. Ihik.

2. Casing.
Apa la nasib aku pakai handphone yang susah nak cari casing yang lawa-lawa. Masa pakai BlackBerry pun susah cari casing, pakai handphone baru pun casing tak ada yang lawa. Makanya harus la aku customize sendiri je. And my forte, blings! Setakat ni dah ada dua bling-bling casing. And more to come i guess. Huhu.

Hello Kitty sangat kan? Playing with some pearls this time. Huhu.

Disadvantages.

1. Size.
Yes, for me, size matters. Aku suka handphone yang besar dan lebar. Macam Storm aku dulu. Handphone ni adalah kecik yang amat.

2. On font customizing.
Tak macam BlackBerry yang bila tukar font, satu system akan tukar font. Untuk handphone ni, nak kena tukar untuk satu-satu application tu. Pulak tu, system font tak boleh tukar. Boleh tukar font for applications, homescreen and menu je. If you want to change the whole system you have to root the phone. Rooting phone will void your warranty which i don't want. Maybe after habis warranty baru aku fikir nak root handphone. i don't wanna take a risk.

Okay, setakat ni, itu je la yang boleh review. I highly recommend you to buy this handphone if you have a limited budget but still you want to use a smartphone. For me, it worth to spend RM530. ;D

Happy Birthday 'Berry Biru'!!

Yay! My phone berry biru sudah satu tahun. Oh berry biru, bilakah mahu bertukar menjadi berry hitam? Ahahah! Tapi takpelah, bersyukur sangat ada berry biru ni sebab walaupun bukan smartphone, masih boleh Tweetting and Facebook-ing. Bagi ai tu pun dah cukup kot.

Cerita pasal berry biru, ai beli dia sebab previous handphone SE w910i sudah mula menunjukkan perangai kurang sopan beliau. Ai tak pernah letak CSL handphones dalam senarai wishlist handphones ai. Ye lah, ai pun typical Malay thinking jugak. Fikir product Malaysia tak elok.

Tapi masa tu, gaji as a kindergarten teacher tak lah tinggi mana pun. Nak kumpul pun lambat lah baru dapat beli handphone baru nye pun. So ai buat loan dengan Mak. Janji dengan dia nak bayar bulan-bulan. Mak bagi loan RM500 sahaja.

Ai fikir, dengan RM500 tu handphone apalah sangat boleh dapat. Sebelum ingat nak beli phone baru dah browse, jumpa brand CSL ni, ai was, wahhh ada macam BlackBerry! Ai pun teruja lah nak tau lagi pasal CSL. So ai decide nak try je lah CSL punya phone.

Masa tu, ai ajak my cousin Fatin yang temankan. Beli dekat Giant sebab ai ingat dekat Giant memang ada CSL point. Ai nak try guna qwerty pad phone as CSL ada banyak qwerty pad model yang sangat affordable.

So, ai belilah model Blueberry @5000 ni. Slide phone with qwerty pad and fully touch screen. Harganya RM480 full set. So far, dah setahun ai pakai berry biru ni takdelah masalah dalaman. Cuma hari tu external screen dengan touch screen dua-dua retak teruk tapi ni disebabkan perbuatan manusia.

Disebabkan surface belakang berry biru ni rata dan luas, ai letak lah diamonds bling-bling. Sepanjang setahun umur dia, baru dua kali ai tukar design. Termasuklah dekat screen depan. Sekarang screen depan dah takde bling-bling. Ai letak stickers pulak. Adalah jugak sebutir dua diamonds ai letak.

Harap-harap, berry biru ni akan terus berbakti dengan ai sampailah ai dapat berry hitam. Jangan buat perangai yang bukan-bukan ye berry biru. Nanti ai tak sayang yu dah. ;)

Handphones Add-on To Wishlist #001 : Nokia C3.

I tengok the latest handphone from Nokia ni dalam advertisment. Ada jugak Shyda mentioned. Dia nak beli handphone neh. Best sebab ada colour pink as i currently falling in love with pink. Yang bagusnya handphone neh ada wi-fi but affordable. Harga dalam RM450++. Yang tak berapa nak bagusnya, handphone neh takde 3g and camera nya pun 2mp sahaja. Tapi setahu i, camera phone Nokia 2mp dah elok quality gambarnya. 3g sekarang pun bukannya orang selalu guna dah. Better Skype then 3g. Ahahah. Ouh, OS nya hanya sekadar Symbian 40 sahaja. Ok kot. Dimensions of this handphone is 115.5 x 58.1 x 13.6 mm. Lebih kurang sama dengan my CSL berrybiru. Cuma C3 lebih nipis. I suka handphone yang lebar sebab nak feeling-feeling BlackBerry gitu. Awww! Ahahah. Its available in 3 colours; hot pink, slate grey and golden white. So, i dah masukkan C3 neh dalam handphone's wishlist i. Entah yang ke berapa ribu lah C3 neh sebab banyak wooo handphones dalam handphone's wishlist i. Ahahah! ;p Ouh, for more info, check out about C3 at Nokia Malaysia website!

Why are people so crazy about the pad, pad stuff.

Pad as in iPad la. Bukan pad yang di pakai kaum wanita pada tarikh tertentu di setiap bulan. Masa transit kat Rawang before ke Kuantan masa abang i bertunang dulu, my cousin pakai iPad. Seriously, i was like asking my self, whats with this thing? Apa yang bestnya? I godeh-godeh dengan Fatin tak sampai 10 minit kot sebab we found that iPad is not that interesting yang macam orang gempar-gemparkan. Mungkin sebab jenama kot. Kalau i, bagi free, maybe la i nak. Kalau guna duit sendiri walaupun banyak, kirim salam la nak beli.

Talking about brand. CSL yang jenama Malaysia tuh pun dah keluarkan 'pad' nya sendiri iaitu DroidPad. Terer jugakla kan CSL neh. Dah la dah pakai OS Android, kira hebat la tuh.

Misti pilih international brands, biar mahal, tak cepat rosak. Memang made in Malaysia stuff cepat rosak eh? I sendiri dah suka dengan CSL bila i sendiri start pakai handphone CSL. A step before i could afford a BlackBerry. Dah, toodles!!
